Interesting, you are not the first person who is mentioning the void feeling in case of the picture. Some says the white gives rather some kind of positivity, a so called "salvation". I don't think the void would be something wrong by all means, anyway - at least it's free from disappointments.

I completely agree. Francesca Woodman's work has that dark emotion that she conveys through lightness, which this work also does. It also makes me happy that it reminds someone else of her; she's my favorite photographer and not many people know of her.
Her work is emotionally dark for sure but sometimes some hope of light comes through. I could say a lot of the kids today don't know much about some of the underground photography that went on in the 70's and 80's. Anyways, thanks for sharing it with us. And remember art is subjective. xD
The more ambivalent the better, I would say .. since in that case there is more to feel, even though 'strange'. I prefer strange, anyway ... something which is 'strange' always deserves a certain kind of appreciation, I think.
